How to find which patches are installed on your system: For Windows service packs simply double click the "My Computer" desktop icon and click on Help/About Windows. For Internet Explorer (IE) simply open IE and click on Help/About Internet Explorer. To see a list of applied patches, bring up Explorer: Right click the Start button /Explore find and click on WINNT to open it then if you don't see the list of Q patches, they might be hidden, which is a default setting so click on Tools/Folder Options/View and check "Show Hidden Files and Folders" radio button and click OK.
